“Me and my wife purchased a cabin and mudroom from Jamaica Cottage and they were fantastic throughout the process. We originally had a contractor promise us a slab for delivery but back out and Jamaica Cottage held our inventory until we got another contractor to help us. They went above and beyond for us and we will do more business with them in the future. 10/10 I recommend!”

“I searched far and wide for a quality kit to build a wood shed before coming across Jamaica Cottage Shop. They had exactly what I was looking for. The variety of sizes and build-options far surpassed my expectations. The sales process was smooth and delivery was a breeze. The quality of the wood and step-by-step instructions was outstanding. For anyone who has spent hours at a big-box store culling through lumber just to find a few good pieces, this is the way to go.”

“All I can say is WOW! We couldn’t be happier. I am SO impressed with the entire package… from the instructions to the fasteners to the lumber AND each piece is numbered and color coded. Frankly the most difficult part was unloading the skid/pallet. It is evolving from a greenhouse to a she-shed…..herbs, veggies, painting, journaling , coffee with neighbors and an occasional glass of wine. We no longer are considering moving! Thanks for a tremendous product!!!”

“Superb materials, a pleasure throughout the process. Wood was excellent, plans and cuts were perfect. Made building the simple garage a lifetime dream come true. Highly recommend and will buy again.”

“Excellent material. Very rewarding build with nearly perfect wood. Made building the garage a true pleasure. Will buy again! Excellent through the entire process.”

“We had a great experience with the Jamaica Cottage Shop. Everything went together beautifully. We just love it. Extra wood was enough to panel the room above the garage. They are highly recommended.”

“Very happy with the buildings I’ve purchased from Jamaica Cottage Shop. Well built and excellent customer service. I bought a 12x18 Sugar Shack and it leaked water and needed some additional support and the Jamaica Cottage Shop team drove 6 hours (one-way) to my camp in Maine twice to ensure it was properly fixed. I also bought the plans for the Writers Haven which came out really well too! All in all a positive experience here.”

“JCS is great. I ordered a fully assembled economy Vermonter. Delivery was super easy. The driver plopped it onto the gravel foundation, and made sure it was level. The ramp is heavy duty and can easily support my motorcycle. The shed is also very sturdy and solid.”

“We have purchased twice from Jamaica Cottage Shop and are in love with our little homestead we are building. We purchased a four season Xylia last year and it was incredibly well insulated and cozy and warm even through the coldest winter nights. This year we purchased a 3 season Vermont Cabin that we are assembling and are very happy with our decision to work with JCS again. Even through some twists in the road, the staff, Mashell and Nathan, were there every step of the way to ensure that all went smoothly.”

“When our Florida Room had a door that didn't quite fit snugly, Jamaica Cottage sent a repair crew 3+ hours from VT to our home in southeast New Hampshire, realized they couldn't repair the problem, ordered a replacement door and sent their production manager himself back again once the new door came in. He and his coworker spent hours carefully rebuilding the frame to create a perfect, bug-free fit. I'm not sure I've ever encountered a company as willing to literally go the distance to make sure we were satisfied.”

“We got our Jamaica Heritage Cottage over 20 years ago and it's one of the best things we ever did. From the initial meeting and planning to the finished building it was a fantastic experience. The quality and price was perfect. Today it still stands tall and in the same condition as it was long ago. These are built for life. Quality plus plus.”

“My project building a Jamaica Cottage Shop single bay garage with 8 ft overhang was superb. We purchased the cedar lap siding as an extra and rubbed linseed oil on each piece prior to installation. We also purchased a glass garage door from another vendor for maximum light inside. Once complete we used a mixture of pine tar and linseed oil to treat the exterior. We use it as a boathouse for our place on Lake Superior. I couldn’t be happier with final result.”
