Adding Case Notes

Capture call outcomes, intake summaries and next steps on a member's file with Add note, then find everything later on their Activity tab.

Enterprise

Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or Pi.

Write It Down While It Is Fresh

Good notes mean anyone on your team can pick up a case and know what happened last. They also save you from relying on memory before your next call.

Step 1: Open Add Note

Either:

  • Open the member from the Dashboard and select Add note on their Details tab, or
  • Select the + button at the top of any page, choose Add note, then pick the person.

Step 2: Write Your Note

The form shows the member's name and a single Note box. Capture a call outcome, an intake summary or a next step for the member.

Select Save Note, or press Command + Enter on a Mac or Ctrl + Enter on Windows. Press Esc or Cancel to close without saving.

Turn Pasted Conversations Into Notes

If you have an email thread or call notes elsewhere, paste them into the + Actions menu. Metaintro turns them into suggested updates for you to review.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the member see my notes?

Notes are for your team. Private notes are not shown to the member.

Where do I find notes later?

Open the member and select the Activity tab. Notes and actions appear there.

What is the difference between a note and a check-in?

A check-in records contact with the member and can set a follow-up. A note is for anything else you want to remember about the case.
