Deactivating a Staff Member

When someone leaves your team, deactivate their account from Settings, Team so they can no longer sign in to your organization.

Enterprise

Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or Pi.

When Someone Leaves

Staff change jobs and roles change. When someone should no longer have access to your organization, deactivate their account so your members' information stays with the people who need it.

Step 1: Open the Team Tab

Select Settings in the left-hand menu, then Team.

Step 2: Open Their Actions

Find the person in the list and select the three dots on their row. The User Actions menu opens.

Step 3: Deactivate

Select Deactivate User.

Before You Deactivate

Check the members that person was supporting. Look at each member's next action and recent notes so nothing they owed a job seeker gets dropped, and make sure someone on your team picks it up.
