How We Check Postings
Metaintro collects postings from employers' own hiring systems and job sources, then filters out duplicates, reposts, stale listings and spam before they reach your members. That cuts down bad listings, but it cannot catch everything. We do not manually review every posting.
Warning Signs of a Scam
- Asks for money up front, like training, equipment or background-check fees
- Asks for a Social Security number, bank details or ID before any interview
- The interview happens only by text or chat app, or an offer arrives with no interview
- Pay far above the market for the work, or vague duties
- The recruiter emails from a personal address (Gmail, Yahoo) instead of the company's domain
If You Spot One
- Tell the member not to apply or share personal information. If they already did, help them contact their bank and visit IdentityTheft.gov.
- Report it to us: email support@metaintro.com with the job title, company name and link. We remove fraudulent listings promptly.
- You can also report it to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
