Good Matches Start With a Complete Picture
A job list is only as good as what Metaintro knows about the person. Matching works best when the member's profile answers the basics: where they can work, whether they are authorised to work, and what they want next. This article explains how Metaintro decides a member is ready, and how roles reach them.
Step 1: Check Who Is Search-Ready
Select Home. The Not search-ready list shows everyone who is missing something before matching can run. Each name shows the reasons underneath, for example Work authorization unknown or Geography unset. Select Log check-in to record the conversation where you fill the gap.

Step 2: Read the Search-Ready Badge
Open the member from the Dashboard. On the Details tab, the Search-ready box shows one of two badges:
- Search-ready: nothing is blocking matching.
- Not search-ready: the reasons are listed under the badge.
Blocking questions in Open questions also keep a member off search-ready. Answer them, or update the profile, and the badge updates.

Step 3: Fill the Gaps
Most gaps are fixed on the Details tab. Add the member's location and work details in Basics, and record anything that limits their search in Constraints. You can also ask the member directly in their thread.
How Roles Reach the Member
Members talk to the Metaintro career agent in their threads. The agent searches jobs using their profile and preferences. Your team can also send roles directly:
- Find Jobs: search for roles in the member's thread, pick the ones you want and send them in a reply.
- Log Sent List: record a list you sent by email or in person.
Metaintro checks the roles in a reply before it goes out. If a role cannot be sent, you are told first, and nothing has gone to the member yet.
What the Match Score Means
In Analytics, Avg. Match Score shows how well your members' skills match the roles in front of them. Skills Match Distribution breaks this down into ranges, so you can see how many members are a strong fit and how many need help closing skill gaps.

Can I send jobs to someone who is not search-ready?
Yes. You can still find and send roles from their thread. Filling the gaps first helps the matches fit.
Does the member see the match score?
